Effect of Macronutrients Combination with Plant Spacing on the Growth and Yield of Black Cumin (Nigella sativa L.)

An experiment was conducted into the Horticulture Farm of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka from October 2019 to March 2020 this study effect macronutrients combination and plant spacing on growth yield black cumin (Nigella sativa L.). Black variety BARI Kalozira-1 used as planting material in study. The consisted two factors: Factor-A: macro nutrient combinations (4 levels): T1= N0P0K0 kg ha-1 (control), T2= N90P50K40 ha-1, T3= N135P75K60 ha-1; Factor-B: (3 S1= 20 cm × 10 cm, S2= 15 S3= cm. laid out a randomized complete block design with factorial three replications. Data different growth, contributing parameter were recorded significant variation observed treatments. In case combinations, tallest (54.86 cm) T3 (N135P75K60 ha-1) treatment. maximum primary branch plant-1 (8.62) secondary (12.18), flower (22.20), capsules (19.69) 1000 seed weight (2.99 g) T2 (N90P50K40 highest (1.18 t) (48.34 S1 (20 (7.80) (11.23) (20.26), (18.81), S3 (1.09 It can be concluded that, sowing providing 90 N, 50 P 40 K more suitable practice for getting higher amount quality cumin.
